Dear Prospective Artisan,

Congratulations on taking the first step toward the wonderful world of stained glass! Stained glass has adorned great cathedrals and castles of the world for centuries. It can be found in the world's finest art galleries & museums; and with a little practice, it can be found in your own home.

Atlantic Stained Glass is the largest full-service supplier in Atlantic Canada. We offer a complete line of stained glass & supplies including all tools, chemicals and accessories associated with stained glass. We also stock hundreds of colors and textures of art glass from glassmakers in Europe and North America.

In our studio and on our website we display examples of projects completed in the classes & workshops.  All classes include the use of all tools and materials necessary to complete your project. You only need to bring yourself … we'll provide you with the rest!

Atlantic Stained Glass works very hard to be the best and the secret to our success is no secret at all - treat people in the manner that you wish to be treated yourself. Our teaching method is complete. We hold nothing back during the instruction. Our time tested methods include detailed discussion of the tools, demonstrations of the techniques and continued coaching during the teaching sessions. We begin with the basics and continually build on them.

All classes are held in our spacious, comfortable and well-equipped classroom. During the class, each student will have access to all the necessary professional grade tools. Each student is equipped with their own tools during class, so there is no need to wait for equipment. We stress personal attention and interactive learning. We limit the class size to ensure the student gets the required personal attention. In our experience, this greatly improves the student’s confidence and taps their maximum potential. This, in turn, leads to enhanced enjoyment of the art and a greater likelihood of success.

All our classes are taught in a fun, informative and unpretentious atmosphere where the student is encouraged to ask questions and seek explanations. We work very hard to keep our classes light and entertaining. Throughout our teaching we have never lost sight of what it is like to be a beginner! After all, we were once beginners ourselves!

Learning to work in stained glass should be a relaxing and fun time. We strive to ensure that the students enjoy the classes, look forward to each class and maintain the view of continuing to work in stained glass.
